I decided to do the activity in the portfolio called Ask Yourself: "Who are these people?" But instead of doing in a live situation, I looked up a picture on the internet and made a story about one person in that picture.
I chose a guy with sun glasses looking at the camera, sitting at a table with someone, discussing something. (He looks suspicious)
It is a really short story but I liked making it!
He always wore sungalsses because noone could know who he was. He was on a secret mission to deliver a message to the prime minister of France. But first he had to meet with the president of his company to ensure that he had complete saftey traveling as is because he was a very wanted man. He had done many crimes for the good of the company but since he was a highly trained secret agent he was never caught and had never been punished.
As the meeting came to a close the president decided that he did need some protection so he assigned 4 body guards that would travel with him but no close to him so that nothing would be suspected of him. There were many other people who would love to read this message but would never get the chance.
As he was boarding the flight to france he accidentally dropped his secret ID and the person behind he happend to see it and say his real name out loud. His security guards noticed and quickly and undetectably removed the man from the line. He was not seen again.
When he arived in France, he was greeted by an attack of several others who were wanting to intersept the letter and have it for themselves. He managed to escape while his secret guards took care of the rest. He brought himself to the prime minister and delivered the letter, which he was even more excited to have opened then the minister himself.
Slowly, the letter was opened and read out loud. It read, "His favorite color is pink." The man stood there in awe as the minister calmly explained, "Well, I guess some people will do anything to protect their secret and some person in your company is one of them."
"Wow," said the man. "I just risked my life so the prime minister of France could know what some persons favorite color was."
I though that this was a great story because it started off all suspenceful and then ended up all cheesy. I originally started doing the opening line activity and the line was "his favorite color is pink" but then I really like this activity so I incorperated both aspects of the projects.
